About Me
With almost two decades as a nurse, I specialize in navigating the intricate, confusing, and frustrating U.S. healthcare system. My education began with Methodist Hospital School of Nursing and Western Governors University, earning degrees including a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master’s in Nursing Education. Since then, I’ve thrived at prestigious institutions like St. Jude Research Hospital and Stanford University Hospital. Working in various settings, from emergency rooms to cardiac cath-labs to oncology, all providing me with the knowledge and empathy to give you the best advice possible.
As a Diabetic Healthcare Consultant, I advocate for patients and families, collaborating with my clients to ensure comprehensive support. Proficient in managing expectations and fostering achievable goals, I empower clients with education and resources. My focus originates from over 4 decades of being a Type 1 diabetic and being a registered nurse for more than 2 decades.
